Before you start
Hosted with us? There is nothing to install
A website on TangibleWP hosting comes with MyHome, its plugins and the demo you chose already set up. Go straight to How to Use Elementor with MyHome Theme.

Download the theme file

  1. 1 Bought from us: download from your account

Sign in at app.tangiblewp.com, open Licenses and click Download on your MyHome license. The file is the theme zip WordPress installs as it is.

  2. 2 Bought on ThemeForest: download the installable file

Go to themeforest.net/downloads, open the Download menu next to MyHome and choose Installable WordPress file only. Do not upload All files & documentation: that package holds the documentation and other extras, and WordPress rejects it.

The green Download menu on ThemeForest, opened to show All files & documentation, Installable WordPress file only (outlined and marked with an arrow), License certificate & purchase code (PDF) and License certificate & purchase code (text).

Install and activate the theme

The page builder you pick cannot be changed later
During setup MyHome asks for Elementor or WPBakery. The two paths are built differently, and a site started on one cannot be switched to the other. Elementor is the path for new sites; MyHome 4.0 Released explains what each path offers.
  1. 1 Log in to WordPress

Sign in to the admin panel of the site you are installing MyHome on (wp-admin).
