How to update MyHome?

  1. 1 Visit MyHome Updater
  2. 2 Add your purchase code e.g. c84814cd-c79d-4fe4-8f21-5f4ef4c592f9

3. Click "Check for Updates"

4. Important Information

When you click the "update" button your theme and all plugins files will be overwritten. Please make sure all modified theme files are stored in the MyHome Child Theme

If you translated your theme make sure your .po / .mo files are not located in the:

  • wp-content/themes/myhome/languages
  • wp-content/plugin-name/languages e.g. wp-content/myhome-core/languages/

because this files will be deleted during update. The correct path to protect it is:

  • wp-content/languages/themes/myhome.po / wp-content/languages/themes/myhome.mo
  • wp-content/languages/plugins/plugin-name-LANGUAGE-CODE.po / wp-content/languages/plugins/plugin-name-LANGUAGE-CODE.mo

4. Click the "Check for new updates" button

5. Click Update

Update finished.

Alternatively, you can update MyHome manually:

  1. 1 Please visit: https://themeforest.net/downloads
  2. 2 Download MyHome - "Installable WordPress file only"
  3. 3 Unzip file
  4. 4 Please create backup of:

- /wp-content/themes/myhome/

- /wp-content/plugins/myhome-core/

4. Copy new theme files into /wp-content/themes/myhome/ and replace old files

5. Go to /wp-admin/ => Plugins

6. Deactivate and Uninstall plugins:

  • Advanced Custom Fields PRO
  • Slider Revolution
  • WPBakery Page Builder
  • Ultimate Addons for WPBakery Page Builder

7. Click "Update Required" next to any plugin that requires it. It is very important to update MyHome Core plugin because it is strongly connected with the Theme

8. Install premium plugins again

  • Advanced Custom Fields PRO
  • Slider Revolution
  • WPBakery Page Builder
  • Ultimate Addons for WPBakery Page Builder

If you update MyHome from version 1.X or 2.X to 3.X please visit MyHome Panel >> Submit Property and add "new step" and configure fields again

If you update from version 1.X to 3.X please visit MyHome Panel >> Property Page and set sections you want to display on your "single property page"
